About this site
Reports generated automatically from open data (NOAA CPC, CHIRPS and GHCN-Daily), with the same structure for every country and period. They do not replace official information from national meteorological services.
Every report follows a common template derived from the climate bulletins of SENAMHI (Peru), INUMET (Uruguay), SMN (Mexico) and INSMET (Cuba): key messages, precipitation, temperature, extremes, drought, notable events, outlook and state-level annexes.
Temperature: NOAA CPC Global Unified Temperature (0.5° daily grid). Precipitation: CHIRPS v3 (0.05°) or, until the final month is published, NOAA CPC's rain-gauge analysis, in which case the report is marked preliminary. Stations: GHCN-Daily, with additional quality control. Boundaries: geoBoundaries. Climate normal: 1991–2020.
This site is not an official meteorological service. For official warnings and forecasts, consult each country's national meteorological service.
